What we collect
To fulfil an order we collect your name, shipping address, email, and the payment details you enter with our payment provider (we never see or store your full card number). If you email us, we keep that correspondence.
Why we collect it
- To ship your order and email you tracking.
- To handle returns and support.
- If you opt in, to send occasional email, which you can leave with one click, any time.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make an order happen: our payment processor, our shipping carriers, and our email tool. We don't sell your data.
Cookies & analytics
We use minimal analytics, including the Meta Pixel, to measure our ads and understand which parts of this page help people and which don't. You can opt out right here, or block cookies in your browser without breaking checkout.
Ad measurement is active on this device.
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Performing our contract with you, to take payment, ship your order, and handle returns and support.
- Your consent, for optional marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Our legitimate interests, to keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and understand at a high level which parts of the page help people (only where this does not override your rights).
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as the law requires (for example, accounting records are kept for 5 years under Danish bookkeeping rules), and support correspondence for as long as needed to help you. If you unsubscribe from marketing, we stop using your details for it.
International transfers
We are based in Denmark and some of our providers (payment, shipping, email) process data in the United States. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@snugtravels.comand we'll take care of it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority, in Denmark this is Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
Who is responsible
The data controller is the company that operates Snug Travels; full legal and company details are on our Imprint. Questions about your privacy? Email contact@snugtravels.com.
